Doreen McNeill has had a lifelong interest in art.  Trained as a draughtsman – she was an architect’s assistant designing shop interiors for many years in the Caribbean.

Now a professional artist, her passion for colour and texture has led her away from detailed imagery to create beautifully surfaced abstract canvases.

Derived from the New Zealand environment her acrylic paintings provide wonderful vehicles for contemplation and individual interpretation.

Her work has been exhibited throughout New Zealand and is held in many private collections worldwide.  She also has paintings in the VIP Lounge of Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong.
