Ever since Shann was a little boy he has loved to draw. His Aunt taught him how to colour inside the lines. His school holidays art teacher taught him how to put a good glaze on a piece of pottery and his primary teacher taught him that trees didn’t have to be just green, they could be red if he wanted them to be.

25 years on, a degree in Graphic Design, a commissioned piece of art sitting in Hyde Park, 4 years of commissioned art and a heap of travel stories, Shann has settled down in the best country in the world to nurture and build his business and passion. Tantrum Design is Shann’s baby – Why the name Tantrum?  Because art is all about ‘making a scene’. Whether its an emotional piece or just a pretty picture to brighten up your living space, art like music has the ability to create atmosphere.

Shann is dedicated to creating artworks, either functional or decorative, that are colourful, fun, environment inspired and unique.

Shann’s works are also commercially accessible to the public as he doesn’t feel that great art or design should be dictated by price.

A wonderful person with a true passion for creating pieces that speak of all that is great about New Zealand.
